Meet The Team
Annie Beadle
Nursery Manager
I’ve been working at the Nursery since we opened in 2001, initially training for my NVQ Levels 2 & 3. During this time, I also worked in the Reception Class at Easebourne Primary and have not looked back since! I progressed to Deputy, then Manager, then completed my Degree in Early Childhood Studies and gained Early Years Teacher status in 2013. I love making a difference to our little people’s lives and have had quite a few pass through the Nursery over the years! We now have children of children we first looked after all those years ago. Our Nursery has an A-MAZ-ING staff team, which I am extremely proud to lead. I enjoy going away in our motorhome, and have a spaniel called Elsie, she’s my baby?!
Sue Budd
Deputy Nursery Manager
I’m Sue & I’ve been at Early Days Nursery since its founding in September 2001. After gaining my qualifications in Early Years Care & Education, I progressed to Deputy. I am proud to be an integral part of such an amazing team. Here at Easebourne we are like family.
Over the years I have seen many little ones flourish and grow, more recently from Caterpillars through to Bumble Bees, with generations developing and passing through, we are truly part of the community. Alongside my time at the Nursery, I cared for my own four young children, who are now all grown up and have made me a Grandma. I completed my Level 3 Forest School training, which I am really passionate about, giving the children benefit in their kinaesthetic-tactile learning as well as the freedom of the outdoor space, which I really enjoy, walking, gardening and camping. Being on the computer does not come second nature to me but that doesn’t stop me typing away when I need to, although my fingers are definitely better suited to being green, spending time in the great outdoors.
Mandy Hill
Nursery Practitioner
I started in the Nursery when it first opened in 2001, only two mornings a week in those days! I went to college and gained my NVQ Level 3. I enjoy working with the children, helping & watching them grow in self-confidence and gaining their social skills. I am quite creative and love messy play! I have four children and two grandchildren, we have a very large family. I enjoy (and am quite good at!) sports, especially playing stoolball.
Annie Ford
(aka Tweenie…because we can’t have two Annie’s!) – Nursery Practitioner
My journey with Easebourne Nursery started in 2007, as a college student on placement for my Diploma in Childcare. After my training, I became an employee. I love seeing the children progress through the Nursery, helping them learn new skills and grow their own individual personalities. I am a mummy to two children. We love to visit the beach and take long walks at the weekends.
Emma Allen
Nursery Practitioner
I started at Easebourne in 2016 as an Assistant and have now almost completed my Early Years Educator Level 3. Alongside a lovely team of staff, I love to support and watch the children develop and grow. In my spare time I love to spend time with my two children, family & friends. I enjoy paddle-boarding, dancing, crocheting & baking.
Jess Morter
Nursery Assistant
Hello! I joined Nursery a couple of years ago on a temporary contract and am now part of the permanent staff. I enjoy being creative and artistic and I love spending time on my sewing machine. I’ve recently moved and have a large garden to maintain, so I’m also learning all about gardening! I’m a mum of two boys, who both attend Easebourne Primary School. We all enjoy camping and spending days down on the beach. In September I’ll be starting at college, doing my Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce.
Hannah Warren
Nursery Apprentice
Hello! I started 6 months ago as an apprentice. I’ve really enjoyed my experience so far and can’t wait to carry on in this loving and rewarding job. Working with amazing people makes this 100 times better!
